Vegetation Control

 

Lineside have considerable experience in the activity of vegetation control in the Rail environment working extensively for the likes of HW Martins, Fountains and Avondale etc. We manage a well trained, motivated workforce with accreditations to NPTC for chainsaw, climbing, aerial rescue and pesticide application competencies as well as the operation of our own fleet of Greenmech SAFE-Track 220 tracked chippers. In addition we carry our own store of plant and climbing equipment allowing for emergency response scenarios. To support our workforce in the assurance of planned ‘Safe Systems of Work’ in the rail environment we also have management trained in the ‘Core Planner Skills Stage 2’, Engineering Supervisor, Lookout, COSS and Handsignalman competencies.
